Toilet paper roll albums tutorial and giveaway!

Hello my dearest!!!!  Hope you are having a great Saturday so far. Yesterday I went out with my bestie to see Kinky boots the musical at Place des Arts in Montreal.  So funny because when we decide to do stuff it seems so fun but then as the time get closer to it we don't want to go downtown Montreal lol.  Thank god we push ourselves because the show was amazing.  So I'm a bit tired this morning... getting old but it was so worth it.  And we had a DELICIOUS meal prior at a small restaurant located right there (best location). This weekend it will be quiet for me and probably crafty YAY.  1st week back to work after the holidays is always harder for me... don't know if it is for others as well. Anyway I'm here today to share with you the toilet paper roll that I made for my giveaway at youtube.  I have reached 1K subscribers!!!  YAY so very excited made it on the 31st of December so just in time to say my goal of 2016 was reached :)  I also made a tutorial of this

Giving Christmas cards new life

Image
Hello everyone!  I don't know for you but in my case I really hate to waste.  And the Christmas cards that I get but that are not handmade used to go to the recycling because let's be honest you can't keep EVERYTHING.... Now that I do some junk journal I could use them for that but I much prefer getting ahead of the game and make some new Christmas cards out of them.  So I wanted to share with you what I did with mine.   I have made a video of the process that you can see here And here is the look of the cards that were done!  I managed to make 11 out of 3 cards and within an hour.  That is pretty fast when usually when I color an image and all just for the coloring it will take me up to an hour... I hope this will inspire you to use up your cards in a similar way instead of sending them to the recycling. I'm entering those cards in the following challenges: A bit more time to craft  - Anything goes Christmas cards all year round  - Snowflake

Give me coffee!!!

Yeah that is me most of the time lol.  I decided to use the opportunity of the great challenge over at Oddball FB group   which is always anything goes with an Oddball image to make one of the Memo pad books that I gave to my colleagues for Christmas.  The image that I used for this one is  image 325 .  I just love this super cute little rabbit. You can see a video here of the inside of this cute album and an example of how it was made. It's all done with recycled envelopes that were gelli printed. I used my copics to color this sweet image and then fussy it out.  The sentiment was found on google by searching for Coffee quotes. I'm entering this make in the following challenges: Open-minded crafting fun  - Stitching real or faux - it's real done with my sewing machine.  I use this technique to make sure that the 2 envelopes that I'm using are really STUCK together for good. Creative knockouts  - Anything goes Dlart-thankful-thursday-challenge-195  - an

Calm mind - The East Wind

Hey everyone!!!  Happy New Year!!!  Hope your holidays were wonderful and that your new year will be filled with joy and HEALTH!  That is the most important part isn't it. Today I'm here to share with you my make with the freebie image Calm Mind that is offered by The East Wind if you are registered for the newsletter. What a better way to start the new year than with a calm mind?!? I have made a video to share with you the making of this journaling page. And here it is.  I used some paints from the dollarstore as well as some paints that I purchased in a pack at Homesense our equivalent of TJ MAXX. The stamping in the background was done with some shelf liner and some little circle items found in my dad's garage :)  Got to love that!  The papers that I used were given to me in a swap as well as the great sentiment on that card.  I have added some book paper just for the fun of it for added interest.  The image was colored with copics and then fussy cut out.
